Hi Jessica,
I'm a new gerbil owner and mine hasn't had any symptoms of any sort. My guess about
your gerbil is that maybe he's allergic to the bedding, or is rubbing his nose too
much on something. Is there something different about his diet? Maybe he's allergic
to something he's eating.
