Hello all, :) Today, day five of having Cairo and Zerwin, they both sat in my elevated hand to eat their sunflower seeds instead of darting to the nearest corner. Now after that happy little announcement.. *g* I was wondering if I was maybe rushing them? I put my hand into their tank when they are awake and bribe with sunflower seeds. I started to lift my hand an inch off the ground and put the sunflower seed into my palm instead of handing it to them in my fingers. That was yesterday. I did that today and as I typed above, they sat in my hand to eat instead of dashing off. Could someone maybe give me a rough outline of the time it took you to "tame" a pair of gerbils? [IE: One week, jumping on hand/Two weeks, Shoulder-training] I want to make sure I'm not moving too fast..
