Hi all,
My first two gerbils were brother and sister (Mulder and Scully), in the
beginning they tried to mate (I don't think they ever really mated, only
mounting), but nothing ever came of this. They stopped the trying to mate
after about a month. Now they are one year and two months old and they
suddenly started mating again. I even saw some blood (very little). Mulder
would mount Scully, then they would both start washing their behinds (sorry
for the language). They did that several times.
I'm afraid Scully is pregnant, I don't want to breed, but if I have to
separate them now, they would be so sad, they are so close.
Does anyone have any advice?
