If your intent is to breed, which would happen with a M/F combo, then you MUST separate the mated pairs. The females are the ones who control breeding rights. They will fight to the death to be dominant. And the dominant one will most likely kill the other female.

In the wild, young females are chased out of the clan when they reach sexual maturity. If, they manage to stay civil, they may give birth together. However, females are well known for kidnapping and or killing the other females litter.

Don't worry, the males will be quite content, shall we say blissful, if they have their own gal pal.

Subject: Older males wanting younger women.... a timeless story. =)

Hi,
Heather and I are coming close to the time when we have to split up the babies which are about 3 weeks old. We have two males that are about 3  or 4 months old. We were wondering if it would be hard to introduce 2 females with them because we don't want to separate the two males just because we don't have the heart to do it? I can image it could get ugly but we just thought we'd ask you guys. Thank you.
