How healthy is he, aside from the tumor? If he seems pretty healthy I would try to
get the surgery done, even though he is 3 1/2. Maybe you can talk the vet into
it, or find another vet. If his general health seems to be going downhill, though,
then I would go ahead and have him put to sleep. Gee seems like your luck isn't
all that great lately - I know how you feel, I had several go in a relatively short
period of time. It's hard. :(
