I thik that the most experienced breeder wihth Shaw's jirds is Sue Green...
You can see her page on Shaw's jirds on the NGS site (other species)
She said it is difficult to maintain a pair....
I have not enough experience with my Shaws. They are young and this pair had
8 pups in 2 litter.
