Other places to look if you can't find a breeder through this list:

-Call around to local vets; especially if the vet treats gerbils. They may
know of a local gerbil breeder (or accidental breeder)

-Talk to your coworkers, friends, fellow church/synogue/mosque goers. They
may know of some kid who accidently ended up with a mating pair of gerbils.
Also, ask any school. Many times schools end up with rodents as classroom
pets.

-Ask any petstores near you where they get their gerbils. If you have a
feed store in your town, there may be a bulletin board for ads which may
include rodent ads. Call that rat fancier or mouse fancier whose ad you
find. They may breed gerbils as well or know someone who does.

Hope that helps and that you can find a young male to pair with your older
guy. I certainly can empathise with that problem.
