Hi everybody,
Here's the sick pup update from
Thumper & Bambi's kids.... the little guy was real cold compared to the
other 2 yesterday. We kept him warm and even tried the warm oatmeal thing... we
tried to keep him with his siblings when they were in a "pile" sleeping so that
he could rob some of their warmth. Today he seems okay and maybe just a tad cold
but not much. Maybe he will be okay. I still am keeping my fingers cross though,
as I know you can never know what will happen with these guys now. They can be
all lively and stuff one day and I've seen them stone cold dead in the cage the
next day and I couldn't explain what happened. But I really think this little
agouti guy is gonna be okay. Thanks for all your immediate input regarding this.

And the new guys.... Ichiro and
Ahrad... very sweet brothers -- I let them run "free" in the playpen yesterday
for a few and they thought it was just the greatest. (o: If gerbils
could smile and laugh, I'll bet they were.
