There are "true blue" gerbils already, but I believe they are only
found in Germany for now... until someone is kind enough to ship a
load over.... or if someone else in the US has a gerbil with mutated
genes that would be needed to make the "true blue", we'll just have
to settle for all the ordinary colors. :)

Was just in Atlanta.. but that's not much help is there? I was
visiting a college friend who lives in Douglas. But then again, right
now I don't have any pups. Some are expected soon though. *crosses
fingers*
