As you know I use Topica, and it is good, but remember that commercial
services only operate as long as they are making money. Listbot has
recently closed, and other list services are terribly unreliable with
long delays before forwarding messages etc. The GML has been well served
by Rice University who have supported this list for free since January
1995. I would prefer we stay here despite one or two disadvantages.
BTW, I know you use Eudora, but Turnpike manages to identify the correct
address for sending mail messages to regardless of how the mailing list
is configured. All this and without me having to do anything.
