Hi everyone,

I've noticed that my new gerbil (replaced my Ding-dum) doesn't seem to chew anything
much. He's about 10 weeks now or so. I don't recall Poke-poke and Ding-dum not
chewing like this, but maybe that's just my inexperience when I first got them.

Is it because he's too young still? He does nibble a little at the toilet roll, but
nothing at all like the frenzied chewing machine Poke-poke turns into when a roll is
offered. The little guy doesn't take popsicle sticks either -- he's always way more
interested in the fingers offering the stick instead. Should this be worrisome
regarding his teeth? If so, what can I do?

BTW, has anyone had to resist the urge to kiss your gerbil's little nose? My new
little guy's tiny nose is so adorably twitchy all the time that it's hard to not try
to kiss it!

Thanks,

Amy
