Hello, I'm new to the list, my name is Rachel. I'll introduce myself, okay? :) I love animals and got my first gerbils at a petstore a year ago in april 2000. They had two litters together. Now one of their daughters had her first and last litter. I have decided to stop breeding her because she is injurred. But I can't help it if she mated right after birth (i wasn't awake when they were born) Okay, they are three weeks old on Wednesday and all the pups are black, I think. See, that is my question. One might be slate, it's hard to tell. He has very light gray fur under his coat and it looks gray if you rub the fur the opposite way that it grows. Can slate gerbils have little white marks on their front paws and bib? If not then it is a black, but I'm not sure for now. Any help would be great, sorry i do not have a picture for you. So, yea, I am going to give the litter, except fo one, to a li!
ttle petstore. The one I'm keeping is the little slate/black boy. The rest of the gerbils in the litter were girls :) Anyways, I'm naming him Josh, after his daddy Joshua who is sick. Well, that's just about all that's really going on at the moment. If you could reply that would be great. Write later, bye bye.
