I currently have two litters of pups.
My first litter was born on August 12.  The mom is Honey Bea (DEH/AaCCeeGgPp) and the dad is Scar (either REW or REBF).  They have two nutmegs and five white.  This is their first litter.  They are good parents, not nerveous.  She is a wonderful mom.  The pups have been nursed very well, always had milk in their tummies.  Scar is a good papa.  He warms and grooms the pups.
My second litter was born on August 22.  The mom is GiGi (AGSp/AaCCE-G-ppSp) and the dad is Go Big Red ! (RF/aaCCeeG-pp).  They have two lilac, two lilac spot, two agente golden, and one agente golden spot.  This is GiGi's first litter.  Red is a good papa.
GiGi is a little nerveous.  She does not nurse well.  When I check on them, the pups are latched on the nipple, but I don't see milk in their tummies as well like I did with Honey Bea's pups.  GiGi's pups are not fat and rolly-polly as Honey Bea's.  Is it okay to continue breeding GiGi?  Will she calm down and do better as she gains experience with any future litters?  I was thinking about separating them when the pups are weaned and leave one female pup with GiGi.  She is probably pregnant again and I was going to wait to see how the second litter went before I made a final decision.
I need help with my colorpoint trio.  I bought my colorpoints when they were 5-6 weeks old in early July.  I had them paired siamese/siamese and CPSlate/LCPSlate.  The male siamese died while young, so I put the female siamese with the CPSlates.  Now both the siamese and the LCPSlate females are pregnant.  I have seen one sucessful 1M/2F breeding trio and heard both success stories and horror stories about 1M/2F trios.  My trio has gotten along from the beginning, but will they get along after giving birth?  If I am to separate them, who gets to stay with the male?  The siamese female has been the watch/thumper for the whole of my gerbil room.  The CPSlates are very casual.  I was thinking about keeping the siamese with the male, hoping he could help tame her alertness.  Would her alertness drive the male crazy?  Does the siamese female have excessive alertness and should not be bred again and pass it on?
I appreciate any input anyone has to offer.
Also, I have not received any info on the runt or dwarf post.
