Well, I have two more pups to place, and was unsure if anyone in the
Charlotte, NC area, or within a 2-3 hour driving distance of, would
be interested in them. This could change, as I'm not completely sure
as to whether the other two will be taken or not. So let's say I have
4. :)
They are both Golden Agouti, and their known genetics would be: AaC*E*G*Pp
One has a kinked tail, very cute, right at the base, female.
Out of the other 3, 2 are male, the other one a female. One of them,
female I believe, is very docile compared to her siblings, and
doesn't mind being patted while she sits in the food bowl and eat.
Not sure if anyone would be interested in regular old agoutis, but
I'd thought I'd make an announcement any ways, as I have to find
homes for them all. I'm allergic it seems. *sniffsniff*
I also possibly have one breeding pair available, as I have never
heard back from the teach who was interested, one way or the other,
or even if she wanted pups, or whatnot.
One person already has dibs on a pair, but I'm not sure which one yet.
There's Trinity and Einstein, known genetics are:
AaC*E*GgP* (Agouti)
aaCchE*Ggpp (Dove)
I'm unsure as to their age, but most definitely not quite a year old
even. Trinity is already carrying another litter, and should be due
in the next 2 weeks. This litter had 6 pups in it, all of which look
just as healthy as the other - can't tell who the runt used to be!
Einstein's nose is finally healing from his allergic reaction to
Aspen, so an alternative bedding would be needed for this pair. But
they're GREAT parents.
There's also Evon and Quark, known genetics are:
AaCCE*G*pp (Argente Golden)
aaC*eeG*P* (Nutmeg)
Quark was born April 7 of this year.
Evon's age is unknown, but I believe she's about 10 weeks younger than him.
This will be Evon's first litter, and she's due in about 2 weeks
also. These two are much more affectionate than Trinity and Einstein,
and I have never EVER seen them sleep apart since day 1.
I would like to try and place these animals within the next 2 months.
If I cannot give away the 2nd as a breeding pair, I'm quite willing
to pair them up with their children, as long as I know they'll be
going to a good home. :)
If you're interested, or know someone who might be, please drop me a
line. If you're not interested now, just hold on to this email, cuz
you never know when you might need another gerbil. :P
For anyone further north that might be interested, I will be making a
trip up to Charlottesville, VA at the very end of Oct. and possibly
driving through Richmond, VA. So I can meet/drop them off/whatever
during then too. Otherwise, I have a tonsillectomy coming up on the
24th of this month, and the doctor says it may have me out for a week
or two. Aside from those days, my weekends are free to arrange pick
ups/meetings/drop offs/ etc.
Thanks!
