Well, I still need to find a home for my other breeding pair. I'd
hate to break them up, but if I need to, can place them with
daughter/son.
Here's the specs so far:
Trinity - AaC*E*GgP* (Female Golden Agouti)
+ Born?
Einstein - aaCchE*Ggpp (Male Dove)
+ Born?
They had their first litter almost 5 weeks ago, so Trinity is
expecting another soon.
6 pups (slate/agouti)
+ Born August 16, 2001
1 Slate Female (aaC*E*ggPp)
3 Agouti Females (AaC*E*G*Pp)
2 Agouti Males (AaC*E*G*Pp) [one with kinked tail]
I still need to find homes for a pair of the pups, male or female
pair. I'm afraid the Slate is already spoken for.. but I will let you
know if the deal falls through. I know they're just Agouti, but I
can't keep them all. Especially since I'll probably be moving in with
my mom within the next 6 months, as my husband will be joining the
forces if/when we go to war. I'll only be able to keep a pair. :( But
they really are very sweet, with lots of personality.
I wanted to make the offer to those on the list first, as most of you
have a lot of experience with gerbils.
I'm also willing to have the pups go to a home by themselves if I
know they will have a mate/friend.
Hopefully, I will still be making a trip up through Charlottesville,
VA and the surrounding Appalachian area on Oct 31 - Nov 5, so if
anyone in the area or near that area would like to meet me then, I
can go ahead and pair up the pups now.
I won't be available to do anything the next few weeks, unless you're
able to meet me in town (Charlotte, NC) for I will be having surgery
on the 24th of this month.
Please get in touch with me if you know someone, or if you yourself
would like to adopt these gerbils.
