Change Bedding?

Hey Everyone,
    I have a quick question, being a new mommy and all :P  The babies are
doing wonderfully, they even venture out of the next (but mommy always puts
them back!).  I know that I'm not supposed to change the bedding when they
are first born, but I was wondering when I can?  I really need to, but I
don't want to disrupt anything.
