Oh, oh!  My two gerbils are exactly like Jen's Sancho and Bhaloobasha!  Poke-poke
(the 8 months-old) is the DEH (the tan colored one), and Little Guy (4 months) is
the dark one with the white pattern.  Little Guy actually is even darker than that
on the brown areas... more like a dark chestnut.  He's got that little streak down
his muzzle, the ring around his neck, a smeared dot on his back, and white tip on
his tail.  Would this be called pied agouti?

The Jeu-jeu Gerbils

PS.  One more thing -- Poke-poke's eyes look dark, but they're always red in photos,
and from certain angles, you can see red in them.  Little Guy, on the other hand,
definitely have black eyes... they're black in photos and no trace of red from any
angle.  What do you call Poke-poke's eye color?
