Well, Trinity's 3 pups are now about 5 days old, and from the little experience I've had in the past identifying things, I could SWEAR that all three of these pups will turn out Slate. I mean, what are the odds of that? Both of the parents have Gg. But nonetheless, this seems to be the case. I'm rather excited... and loathe the idea of breaking the pair up, if they're having Slates on this regular of a basis. It's rather cute to watch the two older brothers help care for the pups. Such good big brothers! Quark and Evon seem to have produced 1 black and 3 agouti, which is a little disappointing as far as coat colors go, (I was praying for a DEH!) though the black it QUITE a beauty, and is a good comparison to the Slate. I mean, black is BLACK. There's absolutely no doubt in my mind now as to the difference between the two. If I could only get some REALLY good pics, to show the comparison. Then it would be easier for others to identify their pups earlier on as well. Just wanted to boast. :) Thanks, Jackie
