The easiest way to teach a gerbil to do this is to have a mom that does it. Soon all the pups follow right behind her. I find that new gerbil owners LOVE this trick. And I have to think that the pups get more attention being so eager to come out. Donna ABC Gerbils www.abcgerbils.com
