Bad day!

I am having a horrible day. I have had one of my male gerbils die (tramp) of unknown reasons. And then while I was cleaning out his and his cage mates cage which I now have discovered the hole where they have been getting out. They are pretty tricky because they have gotten out 2 days ago and yesterday and I couldn't see the hole. Well any way while I was cleaning their cage I went to snap a bubble cap over a hole (they are very annoying attachments that clip over the holes that are used for additional tubes) I pinched my little girls toes. I feel so bad. I think she is OK though. She limped around for  while after I got done inspecting her but as of now I believe she is pretty well back to the normal. BAD day huh?!?   Well since they have started to chew their way out I have decided to  try and make a gerbil cage out of plexi glass some how.
