I would switch over to aspen, Carefresh, or cedar if I
were you.  Especially if you are breeding since pups
have even more sensitive respiratory systems.  It is
of course your choice, but my feeling is why take the
rist when other beddings are easily accessible?

Mine too.  I give most to my breeding moms since I
figure the protein is good for them.

Erin has bred in a trio with success.  I had a trio
M-M-F and they bonded and mated successfully.  I
didn't take it all the way to the birthing stage,
because I suddenly needed a male to pair up with a
female.  I think danger spots would be the night of
the birth, the second mating, and the first few days
of pup rearing and would keep a close eye on them
then.
(A F-F-M trio would be a diaster waiting to happen,
though!)
