Well, it looks to me like the older babies are doing much better, although one still rubs her nose occasionally. But no clicking! However, the smallest of the 2 week old babies is clicking. I'm giving it a tiny, tiny drop of the medicine 2x per day. I sure hope it makes it. I can't tell whether or not the mom is feeding it. I *think* she is, because she looks after it in other ways. I push it back into her nest whenever I get the opportunity. It's fur looks nice, but it does go around with its mouth open some, and - although it can move fast - it seems a little unsteady at times. I suppose the virus could give it some inner ear imbalance? Or is an unsteady gait just typical for a 2 wk. old baby? The other 2 wk. old gerbils are quite robust. This sick baby is the one who was only a little bigger than the runt who died. -Jean
