He might have a gash near his scent gland on his belly and possbly on his thigh. Zerwin has an injury to his shoulder. Both of them might have more that are hidden, of course. I searched the archives and found some info. I just gave them all fresh water and fresh food. I only have two water bottles so I held Cairo and Zerwin's bottle into the kritter keeper for Cairo to drink. He drank well.. I'm glad to see. He groomed himself a little, that may be why I couldnt see the scent gland injury that well. Zerwin seems mainly unharmed. More information. I have four gerbils, all males. The aquariums are side by side. I frequently play with one aquarium and then the other without washing my hands between. In fact, I always do. I have a 10 gallon I can put Cairo in.
