My favorite gerbil just died this morning. I think she had an okay life, and now she is in peace. She died of what I think was a respetory infection, because she was breathing so hard. Yesterday I held her and kept her warm and she fell asleep in my hand. Se most possibly died in her sleep, which is the best and most peaceful way to go. I loved my gerbil, and I would like to get another soon. I will always remember my little girl, the first gerbil I got. Her name was Icky Rat. Please remember me in you prayers.
