We are sorry for your loss.
Sounds like a recipe for disaster if you try to keep the remaining gerbies
clanned.
We once tried to clan a group, all 5-7wks old, with quite enough space.
Once a fight broke out, that was it.  There was no hope of any of the group
getting along with any other member of the group.  Fortunately, none died as
a result of the attempt.  However, they did sustain injuries: one has a
broken toe, another is missing a small part of the tip of it's tail.
We would strongly suggest NOT leaving them together.
