Hello People,
My friend, Patrick Murphy,
sent this to me tonight and I checked our system and YES!!! "it's there" or
should I say "was there" ? anyway, read it and do the simple "fix" please, and
I'm sorry :o( at least it's easy to clean out and doesn't
automaticly "send itself" :o)

===========================================================
Like most people I am very selective about what information I look at on
the inter-net and what I download. I run a virus scan on every unkown email I
open. Well one recently made it through from a site that I
accidently was redircted to: It is called "Go-Hip Dot
Com" also called passthisondotcom and other names I can't
remember. As you can immagine, It clogged up all of my RAM space and
brought my web browser to a total halt.
The next one is a virus that is attatched to emails when you open them
from an unsuspecting person on your email list. That is why I am
sending this to you, I found it today embedded in my C Drive and it was
attatching itself to every email I sent during the past few
months. If you opened one of my emails just like this one, chances are
you have the virus. To check your system to see if you have it (if you do you
have been sending it on your email list too) follow these directions of
how I got rid of it off my system.
Check your
system as follows: (click this screen to the bottom of your desk
top)
Click on "start."
Choose "Find" or
search"
Choose "files and/or folders" Select "find"
Select
"C drive"
Name of file to search for is: SULFNBK.EXE
If you find this file, DO NOT
OPEN IT.
Select by right clicking on your mouse (high-lighting
it) and DELETE it.
Then close the window and EMPTY YOUR RECYCLE
BIN.
The good news is that you have eliminated the virus on YOUR
computer.
The bad news is that you have transmitted this virus to
anyone you may have sent e-mails to in the last month or longer and you
will need to contact everyone in your address book and pass this message
along. Sorry about the inconvenience. The Christmas gift that
keeps on giving!!
If you have problems with these
instructions, give me a call and I will walk you through
them-
Patrick - Merry Christmas (on my
list I want a new Virus Scanning Program forget, Norton)
