I have a gerbil pup that is the lightest black I've seen. The toenail are clear/white and the fur is much more a dark gray than a black.
Mother is Spotted CP Nutmeg: aacbcbeeGgPpSpsp Father is an Argente Cream: AaCchE*G*ppspsp As far as I know the father does not carry any "fancy" genetics such as "g" or "cb" (to make him a slate or burmese). What could make this pup so light? would the combination of a single "g", "cb", and "p" lighten him up?
