Hi Stephenie, You might be set on nomail if you missed the discussion about moving to topica. The list has been extremely active recently. As to the chewing on plastic - unfortunately I've never found a way to stop this. It seems to be something gerbils do with gnawing on everything. I keep all my gerbils in glass aquariums with metal wheels and ceramic hidey holes. Plastic is dangerous to gerbils as they could chew a lump off and swallow it. This could cause internal damage and/or death. Jenn M Canadian Fancy Gerbils _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
