I just rescued a gerbil from a petstore they did not know its age I think
it is about 16 weeks though. It is a Gray Agouti which I am pairing with my
normal Agouti female what color should I expect? I say that I rescued him
rather then just brought him because it was in a cage that had dividers that
should have been all the way down to prefent the hamster/black bear
hamsters/gerbils from mixing it wasn't and him being the only gerbil and
young at that his poor lttle tail was almost completely chewed through right
in the middle I don't know if he is going to lose it or not. I don't think
he is cause it is healed a bit (not bleeding just still very red and
swollen)but if anyone is here in KC and they are giving there gerbils to
Petland in Olathe please stop they are not taking care of them right.
