I've had two female gerbils together since June 8th, 2001. Just today I noticed the bigger one chasing the smaller one around their tank. Then the bigger one would climb on top of the smaller one and they'd freeze like that, then the smaller one would run away. But if the smaller one tried to do this to the bigger one; the bigger one would flip over to knock her off. This kept going on untill I would move and then they'd act normal, but as soon as I walked away from the tank they'd start it again. I have no idea what they're doing, so could someone tell me what's going on.
