Gerbil question and Hello

Hi Everyone,   My name is Annabelle and I have two gerbils.  I got both the gerbils from my local PetCo and was told that they both were males but I just found out from the net that one of them is in fact a female.    I think they are just over eight weeks of age.  My question is if it is possible for a male gerbil to be sterile.  The male that I have is an albino.  Please let me know.  I have had the gerbils since the beginning of February and so far they have not mated and I wanted to know if it was going to stay that way.   Thanks so much, Annabelle ~*~*~* Get more from the Web.
