Hi all,
I think I posted this to the list several months ago, but Steve Adam has gotten a hold of some old Gerber and Excellon manuals, and has graciously scanned them. They contain some useful info that isn't in the "current" specs on the web. He's contacted the copyright holders and has gotten no response, so he's proposing we go ahead and add them with a note: "promising to remove the link if the legal copyright holder objects to it being made public". I tend to agree with this direction. Please let me know if you disagree...otherwise I'll upload it to the webpage in a day or so. Cheers--

Hi again Julian,

After several month's have passed...

Nobody ever answered me, so... I think it is very unlikely
that they care anymore.

Therefore, in my opinion it's probably perfectly aceptable to
put a link to the pages (if you haven't already done so),
perhaps with a note promising to remove the link if the
legal copyright holder objects to it being made public.

Anyway, that's up to you.

By the way, I don't mind being identified as the person
who scanned the book, in case anyone asks you. I think
I can demonstrate a genuine attempt to ask for permission.

Steve.

Boy...reading through their company history really makes you question

 Hi Julian,

Well, I finally emailed the right people, at least.

I feel like I should have known that Barco ETS is
now known as Ucamco. See www.ucamco.com<http://www.ucamco.com>
