Summary: bad aperture

Initial Comment:
System: gerbv-2.4.0_1 on FreeBSD 8.0-STABLE #2 amd64

The following file has a huge circular aperature in the center (1674, 2329)
when viewing, where there\'s supposed to be a rectangle at 45o. When I export
a PNG/PDF/etc. it looks fine.

Best,
Steve

Message:
Steve,
Thanks for the bug report. It looks like you're seeing some known
issues with the "FAST" renderer, and unfortunately we can't easily fix
them. If you click on the "Rendering" mode drop-down box, select Normal or
High-quality for the correct rendering. The FAST mode uses GDK for
rendering, and unfortunately it has some serious limitations with certain
advanced primatives. We intent to eventually drop the FAST rendering
option one day, although we still keep it for users with massive files
which take too long to render using the Normal mode.

Cheers,
Julian
