Category: Drawing Engine Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Wont Fix Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Simon Bichler (bartmonster) Assigned to: Julian Lamb (thepurlieu) Summary: Faulty rendering of rotated layers in fast rendering mode Initial Comment: First let me say thank you for fixing 3196584 and 3196664 so quickly. I've played around a bit more with gerbv today and found another issue: To reproduce: 1. Add layer from examples/orcad/rs232_cm.asb 2. Modify the layer orientation to rotate 90 deg CCW 3. In Fast rendering mode the pads are not drawn correctly. Normal rendering mode seems to be alright. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Julian Lamb (thepurlieu) Date: 2011-03-05 12:50 Message: Simon, Yes, the FAST mode will be deprecated soon, so we aren't putting any more time into it. It uses the old GDK rendering library which will never be able to fully render these side cases 100% correctly. We still keep it around for users with massive board layouts in which the NORMAL mode is too slow to be usable.
