I use a Linux machine (Opensuse 12.2).
In our firm, there is a windows server that we also save to. This has a
Windows share that is mounted on my local machine.
If I try to open a gerber from my local machine, it opens fine, as
expected. If I try to open a file from the share that is mounted on my
machine (looks like a local file), it cannot be opened.

Error message:
Trying to open
/home/bob/bull-technik/Bob/18mm_passive/gerber/18mm_passive.back.gbr:Value
too large for defined data type could not read
/home/bob/bull-technik/Bob/18mm_passive/gerber/18mm_passive.back.gbr[0]

If I use the file browser (Dolphin) and open a remote samba share (the
same share), it works fine.

No other application appears to do this.
Is it some library missing when gerbv is compied perhaps?

Regards,

Bob
