hi, I keep the attached file in: D:\Gerber\SMTVAL-10.003_REV.0.gvp paired with all layers files.
Opening the attached .gvp file with double click in Windows Explorer open it well using gerbv 2.6.1 (on Win7, 64 bit) Opening the attached .gvp file using Gerbv File menù work well with both 2.6.1 and 2.6A compiled on Feb 9 2016 I created two shortcut to both executable Gerbv 2.6.1 and 2.6A compiled on Feb 9 2016 and put them in SendTo directory of my users profile. So in contextual menù in Windows Explorer I got the two icons to choose which gerbv use. Send the attached gvb file to gerbv version 2.6.1 the file is not opened and in Messages tab: nothing appear Send the attached gvb file to gerbv version 2.6A compiled on Feb 9 2016 at 19:33:57 the file is not opened and in Messages tab: D:\Gerber\SMTVAL-10.003_REV.0.gvp: Unknown file type. Could not read D:\Gerber\SMTVAL-10.003_REV.0.gvp[0] 1) Why the file is not opened with send to file shell command? 2) Seems a [0] is added to gvp file name in Message tab. Valerio
