I’m looking forward to it! Since I use Windows only as a secondary platform, it would be really great if we can work together to polish the Windows CI builds, so everybody can have as great of an experience as your colleagues without manual effort on your side :-)

I saw that current github sources do not need most of the patches needed by old release and git sources. For example the well know one for multiple definition in callbacks.h throw by recent versions of GCC is already in.

Only one for aperture macro is needed to work with some of our PCB, will PR.

The bad thing is that I noticed that release and sources after 2018/07/26 compile well and work mostly, but crash Msys2/Windows gerbv on open .gvp files, opening 1st or 2nd may work, but 3th rise a memory exception. Opening single or multiple layers always work well.

I think this is related to the open dialog integration of layers and project patch, happened sometime in between 2.6.2 and 2.7.0
Interestingly on linux always work.

I opened an issue on github:
https://github.com/gerbv/gerbv/issues/19
with the crashlog

Someone successfully built a Windows version that can reliably open gvp files?

I'm really happy to generate and distribute Windows build of gerbv, hopefully working.

thank you,
