Hi, from the FAQ (http://nagoya.apache.org/wiki/apachewiki.cgi?ApacheJ2EE/FAQ): "That's not how open source communities generally work. To the people who have asked to be contacted if Apache are interested, it's unlikely that this will happen with all the huge interest that this has generated. Better to stay in touch with the mail list." Please, do not bury all the members of the mailing list with tons of "I'm here"-like emails, if your aim is to get involved with the development of this project. The fact you're registered within this mailing list just says it all.
Just my opinion, of course. I have many experiences on design and implementation. Hope that I can contribute on this project (Paticipating in a new project instead of patching an old one is more exciting...)
