Some digging through the mx4j archives turned up a work around by setting
'java.rmi.server.useCodebaseOnly=true'. I don't know why this works though...
or what it does.

Description:
I changed DeployURL to check file URLs and "normalize" them. This solves the
spaces in path error Jason was witnessing.
