It looks to me that the problem with Win2k & Cygwin was actually because of the
version of JDK being used. Once it'd been upgraded to JDK 1.4.2_01 everything's
fine.
I don't have too much luck on HP-UX, though. JDK's version is 1.4.1.05 and is
the latest one. No new version has come up yet, and the problem may not be
strictly related to Geronimo, but HP-UX itself. There's a note in JDK's Release
Notes about a patch that fixes an issue of a very similar behaviour. JVM may
simply hang up while performing some operations. Although the patch is already
installed on the machine the tests are being perfomed, I can't think of it as a
bug in Geronimo, but that particular combo of versions of JDK and HP-UX.
Summing it up, it'd be better off if the report is still open, and the only
change would be the priority, which would lower down.

The priority of the bug is Critical as because of this I'm not able to build
