The problem here is there seems to be only one user of the multi target feature and it makes everything more complex to understand and code. The complexity really kicks in when you attempt to add persistence and recoverable configurations. Right now, I am coding a new version that doesn't support multiple targets, but does support persistence and such. When I get that done I'll look at either adding multi target support back in or working with you on changing JCA to not need multiple targets. It could be that I find adding multiple targets back in simple when this new code is done, but right now it makes my brain hurt.
