This is easily overcome by putting the `ffmpeg` in a wrapper script and putting the ID3 tag handling in that. They can be passed in as `get_iplayer 11070 -g -c 'my_ffmpeg_wrapper.sh -i "<filename> <title> <channel> ..."` This site has spammy pop-ups (sorry), but it also has some excellent examples of how to handle conversions and ID3 tags: http://gimpel.gi.funpic.de/wiki/index.php?title=Howto:convert_aac/mp4_to_wav/mp3/ogg_on_Linux http://tinyurl.com/owhh8 aB. _______________________________________________ get_iplayer mailing list [email protected] http://lists.infradead.org/mailman/listinfo/get_iplayer
