Try to find a file called .swfinfo and delete it.
Unfortunately I don't know where this is saved in Windows,
but I believe it's not in the get_iplayer installation folder.
It's stored by default in %userprofile% (e.g. C:\Documents and
Settings\$user\ on XP; C:\Users\$user\ in Vista/7).
OK, found and deleted, but I was still getting the problems with the old
URL.
Thanks to another post, I can now manually download HD with the use of
the command line option:
--rtmptvopts
"--swfVfy http://www.bbc.co.uk/emp/revisions/18269_21576_10player.swf"
That still doesn't fix my PVR, though. Clearly the software itself is
working, but the wrong URL is being found somewhere on the system. Where
should I check for this bad configuration?
Thanks,
Iain.
