working. You will need to run your original command with --modes=rtsphd
and --verbose to see if VLC writes any error messages. I'm not sure it

RTMPDump.
Just had a "doh!" moment. Since we're talking about video here, I don't
think VLC will ever work. IIRC, it can only download audio, so forget
the above. Somebody else here may know the real answer - I never use
rtsp modes.
