It is a Windows Server issue. Server 2008 (and therefore WHS also) has
the "Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration" feature.

I have tested the download directly in IE on the server and get a message:

"You are attempting to download a file from a site that is not part of
your Trusted Sites" and lists http://cdn.bitbucket.org as the site.

So I think it's not the redirect itself which is causing the problem,
it's actually that the download is not trusted, and wouldn't be from
any site that is not "Trusted" by IE.

I have manually downloaded and placed it in
./AtomicParsley/AtomicParsley/AtomicParsley.exe (same as my Win 7
Ultimate box). Will get_iplayer find it OK or do I need to add it to
prefs?
