Doesn't the option --hide do this? That is what I use. There is a
download history file in ~.get_iplayer
I think the person is asking for already-downloaded programmes to be
flagged rather than just hidden. For now, if you want to know what
episodes you already downloaded for a particular programme, you can just
run:
get_iplayer --history whatever
Besides, when you run:
get_iplayer --get whatever
get_iplayer will just skip (with a warning) any episodes of "whatever"
you already have.
