Ahh, the Win7 ProgramData folder, I'd forgotten to look there!
I'd been in the Users\Me\.get_iplayer and Program Files
(x86)\get_iplayer folders and didn't find the "options" file that I
guessed should be somewhere.
Thank you for all your advice. I'll do some more work and experimenting
on all of this soon., which I'll go through in detail later.
