Try this maybe Go into command line in Windows and try this - note I've not tested it (it's running now, but it will take a while)
C:\Program Files (x86)\get_iplayer>--get 1231 --modes=best --stop 3:30:00 --attempts 1 --force where 1231 is the PID for the ceremony on my PC. The above is an attempt to record the first 3.5 hours of the ceremony. There was a lot BBC commentary at the end which took it to 4 hours. You've got about 15 hours to sort this out before it goes for good from iplayer.
