Yes I think you're right. Although it's been rare, I have seen some programmes taking more than a couple of days to appear for downloading, although they have been playable pretty much instantly. You just have to keep trying!

The annoying thing is that when using the Windows PVM I searched using
the PID [b04m4j7g] and it didn't find the programme - even after a
radio cache refresh. Now it is there. I think that the Beeb was very
late in releasing the programme to iPlayer - however it was playable
on iPlayer itself - It just wasn't downloadable. This implies that
although the file was on the server for iPlayer, it wasn't yet
indexed. Chris B.

The Ballad of the Great War - 1914
World War One, The Ballads of the Great War Episode 1 of 5

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b04m4j7g

This wont list in the radio cache - refreshed. It wont download using
Windows PVM - using Search on 'Name' or 'PID'

However it does appear to download using CMDLine

get_iplayer --pid b04m4j7g --type radio

CJB.

Listed here under Name: World War One, Episode: The Ballads......

Try that

I've noticed for a while now that the first episode of a radio series is
often named differently! Always worth trying variants of the title when
searching.
