it took me three days to notice that 2.92 had arrived, and then my raspberry pi died, and then I fixed it, and then I ran out of excuses... there are updated ubuntu and raspbian packages in their respective repositories, per the installation guide here: https://github.com/get-iplayer/get_iplayer/wiki/installation have fun!
